Emergent Phoenix's Policies 


Emergent Phoenix reserves the right to decline or refuse contracts and Services to any organization, person, or entity for any reason, named or unnamed prior to a written contract being signed.


Emergent Phoenix reserves all named rights below:

  7. Right to Advertise

  8. Right to Receive Payment

  9. Right to Work with Other Contractors

  10. Right to Challenge Our Employment Status

  11. Right to Manage Our Own Business


Emergent Phoenix teaches and coaches sensitive topics around race, gender and sexuality, abuse, trauma, control and inequity, as well works primarily with people from marginalized identities. To protect Emergent Phoenix's contractors and subcontractors, by signing a contract with us, you agree to abide by the following policies:


Slander/Defamation/Libel —A Client or Party shall not, during the course of the contract with Emergent Phoenix, nor at any time thereafter, directly or indirectly, in public or private, in any manner or in any medium whatsoever, deprecate, impugn or otherwise make any comments, writings, remarks or other expressions that would, or could be construed to, defame the Emergent Phoenix, or its subcontractors or either of their reputations.  Nor shall and Client or contracted Party assist any other person, firm or company in so doing.


Sexual Harassment —All Clients and Parties are required to respond to and investigate all allegations of sexual harassment of Emergent Phoenix's independent contractors on their job sites, or in virtual workspaces, even if the people involved are not employees of the Party.


Hostile Workplace—All Clients and Parties understand that allowing a workplace that is hostile, harassing or discriminatory towards Emergent Phoenix and its subcontractors, hinders the contractor’s ability to get the benefits under the contract and may constitute breach of contract under the Intentional Breach of Policy or Impossibility of Performance clause. Emergent Phoenix reserves the right to terminate any contract with the agreed upon fees, not less than pro-rata through the date of notification plus 10% of the total contracted amount. 


In the case of excessive emotional distress and intentional harm by negligence or awareness, from libel, defamation, slander, sexual harassment or discrimination, hostile work environment, and breach of contract, Emergent Phoenix reserves the right to pursue any an all legal action available under the law of the State of Wyoming, USA where Emergent Phoenix is incorporated.
